IKEBANA WORKSHOP for DLCI Members

Ikebana "the way of flowers" or "the art of bringing flowers to life", is a traditional Japanese art based on flower arrangement.

The joy of Ikebana lies in not only creating a beautiful arrangement but also connecting to the natural world. Creating a sense of harmony that arises from the combination of different materials, shapes and colours.

At this 2 hour demonstration and workshop you will the learn basics on how to create a small arrangement that you can take home.

A fee of 10 euros per person will be required to cover the rental costs and the expenses for additional flowers. There are spaces for 15 people on this session.

Participants should bring:

Three flowers (of the same kind - in season)

Secateurs (or good scissors)

Cloth (for wiping up water)

Bag (to take home your arrangement)
