Hello to all.

Prior to living in France, I lived my married life in Dorset.

I was originally from Hove in Sussex and my family comes over frequently.

I was happily married for 31 years living  in Dorset and we had a lovely daughter Louise.

I was a director and Independent Financial Advisor in the oldest Brokerage in Dorchester. Looking after our Investment clients. Prior to that I was with Barclays looking after their high networth clients.

Then sadly my husband passed away.

Before that happened, we bought an apartment in Andorra as we loved skiing as a family. We went many times and in doing so we fell in love with France. We would drive there each time. One day we knew we would move here.

I moved here in 2008 with my partner and we ran a Chambre d'hote in Monbazillac. It was very successful and we entered the Michelin guide. We were there for 6 years. We then did the same in Sourzac but with an attached house and let it throughout the season on a self catering basis.

We moved back down to the vineyards in October 2019 in Cuneges. A few months before the pandemic, to retire. We are very happy to be back in this area.

I was introduced to DLCI by my friend Liz and have found everyone friendly and interesting to talk with.  I really appreciate being  part of this group, meeting new members and making friends, taking part and enjoying the lovely events we have.
